The supplemental Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance is provided through American Income Life Insurance Company, a 100% union company servicing working families for more than 60 years!

American Income Life currently has over 660,000 UFCW members covered under AD&D policies at no cost. Since 2003, over $222,992 in life, health, and no cost AD&D benefits have been paid to UFCW Local 1996 members and their families.

NO COST – $5.000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit

In addition, again at no cost, CHILD SAFE KITS are available for your children and grandchildren. These kits  have  been  endorsed  and supported  by the International  Union  of Police  Associations, the American Federation of Teachers and the American Federation of School Administrators.  The kits help you gather vital data, photos and fingerprints from your children so they are ready for authorities in the event of an emergency.

By returning the enclosed postage paid card to American Income Life, you are able to designate your beneficiary. If you fail to designate your beneficiary the $5,000 benefit will be paid to your estate and may be subject to probate. To complete your card online, please visit www.ailife.com/benefits/sgc6w

PS. You and your family may qualify for additional insurance benefits offered at this time. American Income Life and its programs are offered to help our members. Please take a few minutes and listen to the AIL representative who will be calling you once you return the postage paid card.  If you have any questions about these benefits or if you are interested in buying any additional coverage, you can set up a time and place to meet with an AIL representative. Please contact American Income Life at: 1-800-495-1213 or Brett Hulme at 912-507-8037. All questions must be referred to American Income Life. Please do not call the Health and Welfare Office or Local1996 regarding buying additional insurance!
