All Essential Workers and Critical Infrastructure workers in Georgia, including food processing and grocery workers, are eligible for free Covid-19 Testing without symptoms at locations across Georgia.
In order to get tested at one of the locations you must make an appointment.
You can call your local health department to schedule an appointment, make sure to hold on to your confirmation number! Click here to find the number to your local health department.
You can also visit the Augusta University Health website and download an app or call the hotline at 706-721-1852 to the schedule an appointment and their sites statewide.

Governor Kemp has issued a Shelter In Place Order for Georgia
Governor Kemp has issued a shelter in place order for the entire state of Georgia. Essential workers are allowed to be out to travel to and from their work at an essential job function. You can see a comprehensive summary of the order here. You can also see the entire order here.

Every year the UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship Program offers scholarships to UFCW members or their immediate family members who want to further their education and demonstrate a commitment to their communities and to UFCW values. Since 1958, the fund has distributed more than $2 million in scholarships.*
Past winners have gone on to make significant contributions to society and to the UFCW – entering a range of fields including public service, medicine, law, business and teaching. Many have returned to the UFCW as staffers, organizers, and community activists who contribute to our mission.
*UFCW-employed officers and staff, and their immediate families are not eligible for this program.
Congratulations to all 60 UFCW Unions and Employers Health and Welfare Fund- Atlanta winners of the 2018-2019 Dental Cleaning Campaign!
UFCW Unions and Employers H&W Fund- Atlanta and Cigna launched a dental cleaning campaign to encourage members to visit their dental provider and complete the recommended 2 annual dental cleanings. All subscribers who met the requirements were entered into a drawing. 60 lucky participants were awarded a Sonicare toothbrush. Congratulations to all 60 winners!
We continue to encourage all members to complete their annual dental checkups, and to be on the lookout for future dental health campaigns. See the information on enrolling in MyCigna below!
For all Kroger associates enrolled in health insurance, or who are eligible to enroll in health insurance, open enrollment begins Friday, November 1st!
The deadline to enroll is December 15th, 2019.
You can enroll online by clicking here. The online system will guide you through the enrollment process.
Once you have made your benefit elections, you will see a summary of choices and your confirmation number. A confirmation number means you have completed the process, please keep your confirmation number in a safe place!
You can also enroll over the phone by calling the fund office at (770) 997-9910 or 1-800-241-2136.
Hours will be extended through the open enrollment process: 8AM-6PM Monday – Friday; 9AM-4PM on these Saturdays: November 22nd, December 7th and 14th.
You must enroll during annual enrollment every year to have health benefits for the next year!
